PTO
We’re always looking for more people at PTO and there are so many ways to help!
It’s easy and no pressure: you don’t have to sign up for everything or attend every meeting. You choose your level of involvement and there’s no pressure to do more. We know how busy life can be and will provide volunteer opportunities throughout the year for things both big and small. Some things can even be done at home.
There are many ways to get involved:
Fundraising: brainstorm ideas and be part of the planning for fundraisers
Office Help: make copies, create displays, cut out items needed for classrooms (some items can be done at home if desired)
Woot Woot Wagon: help PTO treat our teachers by delivering snacks and drinks
Marketing and promotions: post on social media, create posters, emails and other creative material
After School clubs: support after school clubs and help create new ones for Truman students
Volunteers are needed with a variety of events throughout the year. We have monthly meetings where we discuss events and other activities that may arise. We also have a Facebook page Truman Elementary PTO. If you have a Facebook account please come join our group!
