Teaching and Learning Improvement Plan

GOAL(S):

Achievement: 70% of our students will be proficient on the craft and structure reading sections and operations and algebraic thinking math sections on the spring summative WyTopp assessment.



MEASURES AND METHODS (INTERVENTIONS):

Intervention: All Title I teachers and staff will continue to use the Leveled Literacy Intervention system to improve vocabulary acquisition. We will create intervention times to support Title I, SpEd, and classroom teachers in the improvement of operations and algebraic thinking math acquisition skills.

Progress Monitoring for Reading (Reading Records)- Strategic and at-risk students will be monitored using reading records. The data collected from these records will be used to make educational decisions placing students into appropriate interventions.

Learning targets specific to the day’s lesson will be posted and referred to throughout the instruction. Teachers will collect formative data throughout the lesson to evaluate whether or not the success criteria has been met by all students.
