Hi, my name is Donna Faris and I am one of the Title I LLI teachers at Truman. I was one of the original teachers to teach at Truman when it first opened in 1982. After teaching in several of the other schools in the district, I feel as if I have come back home to Truman!
I believe that our children are our greatest gifts and that all children can learn! As educators it is our responsibility to provide a safe and nurturing environment along with the best educational programs available to help our students become successful life long learners.
I also believe that my calling in life is to be an educator. Before I became a Title I teacher, I was a classroom teacher and I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 at different times during my career. If you attended elementary school in Wilson, Truman, Harrison, or Jackson I may have been your teacher. I have already shared school photos of some of you with your children who are in elementary school right now!
I consider myself to be extremely blessed to be working with our students. I am always open to suggestions as to how I can better help your child. Please feel free to call me (307-872-1900) or stop by to visit with me.
